What is MS?
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system. Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world, with approximately 1 in 400 people living with the disease. Although there is no cure for MS yet, early diagnosis and treatment can help manage symptoms, reduce relapses, and improve quality of life.
What does MS mean to us?
At the heart of Controlled Entropy Distilling is Shea Bennett, a passionate distiller with a background in chemistry and brewing. Alongside his wife, Nahome Boule-Paquette, Shea turned his love for science and creativity into a thriving craft distillery in Summerland, BC.
Beyond the spirits and cocktails, Shea has a deep personal connection to MS. After his diagnosis in 2021, Shea decided that life is too short not to follow your dreams. With this newfound determination, Controlled Entropy was born.
Through this fundraiser, Shea hopes to bring people together, share his story, and contribute to the fight against MS.
