About the Summerland Food Bank & Resource Centre
“The goal of the Summerland Food Bank and Resource Centre is to provide not only emergency food but also an information and referral service for people in need in Summerland. We provide information, assistance and direct aid to people who are experiencing difficulty in their lives and need a helping hand or who want to find out what social services may be available to help them.” – Summerland Food Bank
After four decades in the basement of Summerland United Church, the Food Bank and Resource Centre will finally have a place of its own – the ground floor of the five-story building under construction on Henry Avenue in downtown Summerland. A special fundraising campaign has been launched to raise the remaining $600,000 of the $1.8 million for the total cost of the new Food Bank and Resource Centre.

Pack your lunch, your pets and your friends and come enjoy a delicious locally inspired cocktail for a cause!
On Sunday, July 19, the distillery will be donating 100% of profits from cocktail & mocktail sales to the Summerland Food Bank & Resource Centre. We are putting a special emphasis on our Summerland-inspired drinks, including the “Red Delicious” cocktail and “Fresh & Free” mocktail. Cocktails will be sold for $14 and Mocktails for $9.
Cocktails can be enjoyed on our cocktail patio. Feel free to bring your own lunch or snacks!
In addition to the cocktail event, Controlled Entropy is organizing a raffle for a locally-inspired “Stone Cold Sour” Cocktail Kit. Featuring our Dry Hopped Gin, Summerland Sweets Apricot Syrup and Peach Bitters, this kit has everything you need to create a flavourful and delicious cocktail at home. Raffle tickets are only available on the day of the event. The winner will be drawn at 5:00 pm. Must be 19+ to enter.
