The name Kiss from a Rose is inspired by the Seal song with the same name, which always reminds me of the masterpiece Batman Forever and my forever-and-always Bruce Wayne 😍. This cocktail is a tribute to the song and the movie, and of course, a way to express your love and appreciation for your partner! It is a perfect drink for Valentine’s Day or any other occasion that calls for a romantic and sophisticated cocktail. Ingredients

1.5oz – Controlled Entropy Amaro
Fat 0.75oz* – Lemon Juice
1tsp – Rose Water
1 Egg White

Instructions

1. Add the ingredients to a shaker and carefully dry shake (ie. without ice)
2. Add ice and shake for another 15-20 seconds.
3. Double strain into a chilled coupe.
4. Enjoy!

Using our Controlled Entropy Amaro as a base spirit allows us to skip any extra syrups or sweeteners. This lets us reduce the number of ingredients needed to reproduce this cocktail and lets our Amaro shine and take a leading role. The floral violet notes of the Amaro pair perfectly with rose water, and the gentle acidity from lemon juice brightens up the cocktail creating a beautiful balance. Adding an egg white adds a smooth and frothy texture to the cocktail, and helps lighten the cocktail without watering it down. It also helps create a nice foam on top of the drink, which looks amazing!
